Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Haller is head of the Chair in Nutrition and Immunology at the School of Life Sciences Weihenstephan (WZW) of the Technical University of Munich.
He is also Director of the interdisciplinary Research Center ZIEL – Institute for Food & Health at the Technical University of Munich.
Research activities are focused on Nutrition and Microbiome in the initiation, prevention and therapy of chronic disorders emphasizing on the basic understanding of:
- Microbiome and Gut Health
- Inflammation and Tumorigenesis
