Prof. Dr. Dirk Haller received the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz-Medal in 2020 "in recognition of his outstanding, internationally acclaimed research on the role of nutrition and the microbiome in the pathogenesis of chronic diseases”. The Heinz Maier-Leibnitz-Medal has been awarded at the Dies Academicus 2020 - TUM´s Annual Academic Celebration.
